Founders - Henry and Angie Roberts
Rev. Henry Roberts came to Ashtabula in 1961 and founded the Church formerly known as the Revival Center Church. He and Angie Pastored the Church for 22 years. During that time theRevival Center held services in a renovated motorcycle club building, a small white church on Cook Road. Through the ministry of Rev. Henry Roberts the church expanded into the current church that is now known as the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God which is located just down the road from the little white Church. The Church has gone through many changes over the years but the message is still the same. Pastor Henry and Angie are up in age now and their son Kenneth has taken the mantle that was passed to him in 1983.

Pastor Kenneth Roberts and Wife Debbie
Rev. Kenneth Roberts is our Pastor and his wife Debbie. They have held the position of Pastor for 28 years. Rev. Roberts started his ministry as an Evangelist and traveled through most of the United States ministering in many Churches and preaching the Word. After eight years of Evangelizing solo, he met and married Debbie and they have 4 children, Hannah, Jonathan, Rachel, & Joshua. Rev. Roberts Pastored a Church in Gray, Kentucky for 5 years before coming here to what was formerly known as the Revival Center Church. He felt the call to take over the Pastorate from the former Pastor and founder his father, Rev. Henry Roberts. Shortly thereafter, our Church joined the Pentecostal Church of God of Joplin Missouri, organization. The organization has afforded us many opportunities that weren't available to us as an independent Church. He is very active in reaching out to the community and has a desire to reach the hurting, the lost and discouraged. His ministry and foundational beliefs are founded upon the Word of God. His desire is to reach out with this Media Ministry to the lost of the world. Matthew 24:14 "And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come."

Children's Ministriy Leaders - Pat and Chrystal Bartone
Pat and Chrystal Bartone are our Children's Ministry Directors. Pat, who is from Ashtabula and has been raised here at PCG (Revival Center), moved away in 1988 where he attended Life Bible College East and earned his Bachelor's degree in Theology. After college, he moved to Virginia and worked in Children's Ministry at the Assembly of God Church.
Chrystal was raised in Kentucky, where she grew up attending the Riverside Church of God and also spent her summers here in Ashtabula with her family and attended PCG. She has always been drawn to working with children from a young age. She volunteered in her home Church helping with children's plays and working with the children's choir.
Pat moved back to his home in Ashtabula in 2009 where he and Chrystal were married in 2010. Both came back to there home church here at PCG. They both knew that they wanted to impact the lives of children. They were honored when asked to take the Childrens Ministry position. Our children are the Church of tomorrow. They believe there is no greater joy than to see a child learn and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ or see a life that has been devastated by sin, turned around by the grace and mercy of God and made whole. That is why they want to reach out to our children. The Bible says in Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. That is their goal, to teach, train and be witnesses to children. For we know that Jesus said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of God." -

She played the piano and her brothers played the guitars. Debbie's father was also a Minister and had a television program for six years, and then God took him home. The children who were older now, all sang on the TV program that aired on Lester Sumerall's station, out of South Bend, Indiana. Asst. Worship Leader -Connie ( Hamilton) Pelton
Playing gospel music, singing, and writing songs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was about 13 I traveled with my Dad and sang for many revivals. Later on we built Freedom Worship Center and I became the worship leader there. I have been a member of the Pentecostal Church of God for about 10 yrs. I am thrilled to be leading worship again and am so very thankful for the musical calling God has placed upon me. It is so rewarding to see how music moves people into the spirit of worship. 2 CHR: 5 As the singers were as one praising and thanking the Lord, when they lifted up their voice with trumpets and cymbals and music and praised the Lord, then the house was filled with a cloud!!

PCG Bible College Administrators, Brian and Sherri Hommes
Brian and Sherri Hommes are the coordinators for the Ashtabula PCG Bible College. Married for eight years with three wonderful boys, there passion is to impact the lives of those around them with the love of Christ. Brian, formally the Director of a local soup kitchen, was reared in Church and has been instrumental in numerous church events throughout Ashtabula County, as well as, the rebuilding/remodeling of local churches.
Sherri, on the other hand, gave her life to the Lord 15 years ago while serving in the United States Air force. For the first six years of her Christian walk the Lord began the process of renewing her mind to that of Christ Jesus and healing her heart from the many snares of the world. On the heels of transformation, she, along with the help of Brian, were called by God to head up a local youth ministry, which God then used to transform the lives of a number of young men and women. The door to that ministry was closed in 2010 and in 2011 the Lord opened a door to teach the PCG Bible College. Currently Sherri is obtaining a Certificate in Ministry through the Ashtabula PCG Bible College as well as teaching it's accredited material to enrolled students.
