PCG DRAMA MINISTRY

The PCG Drama Ministry is led by Michael S. Riffe.  This Ministry strives to bring dramatic presentations straight from the Word of God to the church stage.  Every presentation is presented with the utmost respect of the Word, while allowing the audience to experience first hand what it would be like in the days of the good book!  The ministry is equipped with spectacular state of the art sound and lighting equiptment, special effects makeup artist, amazingly talented seamstresses and carpenters who help bring the stories of the Bible to life.

Equipped with over 70 members, the drama department is well known for their massive Easter Dramas where the audience is taken on a journey through Jerusalem during the time of Christ.  The story of his life unfolds as he performs miraculous healings, withstands the temptation of Satan in the wilderness, arrested in the garden, and taken to the cross on Calvary.  But the story always ends with the celebration of his resurrection from the tomb on the third day.  The presentation is written and directed by Riffe but features many well known songs from various Christian artists.  

Another area of this ministry is LEGENDARY, the teen drama troop (ages 12 and up).  This troop works hard to learn interpretive dance routines, human videos, and skits that they perform monthly for the congregation.  Legendary competed in their first talent contest and won first place at the 2012 Winterfest in Geneva, Ohio.  "WE'RE NOT ORDINARY, WE'RE LEGENDARY!"
